Forvus Products and the Year 2000 Compliance Statement

To All Forvus Research Customers:

Forvus Research's products are Year 2000 ready. Forvus cares deeply about its customers and feels a responsibility with the industry to raise the awareness about this issue.

Much of the software on mainframes today use the 2-digit shortcuts and will not work properly when the date rolls over to "00". This will be mistakenly interpreted to be the year 1900 in such software. By contrast, Forvus has always used the entire 4 digits on the year so the date will roll over from 1999 to 2000 and all calculations based on dates will still be correct.

As such, all Forvus Research software products manufactured after November 21, 1996 (Version 4.3.07 or higher) are certified to work properly with the year 2000 transition.
